Situation:
The Human Early Learning Partnership (HELP) research unit was looking to embark on the development of a 5-year pricing strategy for their Middle Years Development Instrument (MDI) survey tool. HELP engaged SDS to support them in the pricing strategy exercise for their MDI tool.
Our Actions:
In tandem with an identified working group from HELP, we were able to:
- Define vision & principles
- Identify the market opportunity
- Verify the market scope
- Identify and benchmark competitors
- Provide recommendations around MDI’s suite of services
- Identify key features within the market deployment strategy
- Determine the optimal pricing model
- Create the 5-year pricing & revenue model
Results:
- HELP gained clarity on the factors that affect strategic pricing as it relates to the suite of services offered for the MDI tool.
- A detailed pricing forecast was created to illustrate the financial impact of recommended pricing and market specific solutions.
